The COVID-19 Swab test is an antigen test that will show if a person has antigens for an active COVID-19 infection. They are designed to find proteins from the virus that causes COVID-19 via nasal swab. Additional throat swab is optional.
The test is easy to perform and gives accurate information on whether someone is actively infected with the COVID-19 virus. Because of the ease of the swab, the quick answer and the accuracy of the results, this test is very suitable to be used at home

Flowflex Reliability:
It is possible for this test to give a negative result that is incorrect (false negative). However, it is very unlikely. When the test is performed your healthcare provider will consider the test result together with all other aspects of your medical history.
The sensitivity for this test is 93,8% and the specificity is 100%. The most common cause for a false negative test would be from getting tested too early after exposure. We recommend that patients wait at least 24 hours after exposure or developing symptoms before getting tested. False positive results are extremely unlikely.
Flowflex Limitations:
SARS-CoV-2 Ag Rapid test has been designed to act as a supplementary test for suspected cases of negative coronavirus nucleic acid detection or in conjunction with nucleic acid detection in the diagnosis of suspected cases. Results from nucleocapsid protein antigen testing should not be used as the sole basis to diagnose or exclude SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) infection or to inform infection status.
