HB Measuring Hemoglobine
Measure your hemoglobin yourself and professionally
Swiss Point of Care helps you to feel Healthy, Fit & Energetic again!
Hemoglobin is the protein molecule in red blood cells that carries oxygen from the lungs to the tissue of the body and brings the carbon dioxide from the tissues back to the lungs. If you want to know more, read the Hemoglobin page.
Hemoglobin values and risk assessment
A low hemoglobin level is referred to as anemia or low red blood count.
Higer than normal hemoglobin levels are seen in people living at high altitudes and in smokers. Dehydration produces a false high hemoglobin measurement that disappears when the correct fluid balance is restored.
It may be important to regularly measure your hemoglobin and see if your content is still within the target values or not. Measuring is knowing.

Prevent Anemia
The Hb or Hemoglobin is a protein molecule which can be found in red blood cells see ‘article‘. Like Cholesterol, you can measure your Hemoglobin values (Hb level), where a too low value can lead to anemia and a too high value can lead to Polycythemia.
Therefore, measure your hemoglobin regularly with the Mission Plus Hemoglobin meter. Or purchase this meter in our shop.
