On September 29, Swiss Point of Care proudly participated in the nationwide awareness tour Herzenssache Lebenszeit in Munich.
The iconic red bus — widely known as the Boehringer Bus — brought cardiovascular prevention directly into the city. Visitors had the opportunity to receive free on-site heart health screenings and gain valuable insights into their cardiovascular risk factors within minutes.

Free Heart Health Screenings in the City
As part of the initiative, visitors could have key health parameters checked free of charge, including:
- Blood pressure
- Blood glucose
- Cholesterol levels using the Mission 3-in-1 Cholesterol Meter
Within just a few minutes, participants received immediate results, allowing them to better understand their cardiovascular health — without appointments or laboratory visits.
The event clearly demonstrated how accessible preventive healthcare can be when it is brought directly to the public.
Working Together for Cardiovascular Prevention
Swiss Point of Care supported the event with its cholesterol measurement devices and test strips, enabling fast and reliable lipid profiling on site.
We were proud to collaborate with strong partners, including:
- Boehringer Ingelheim
- LAKUMED Clinics
- Klinikum Landshut
Together, we helped raise awareness of cardiovascular risk factors and highlighted the importance of early detection and preventive care.
Raising Awareness for Heart Health
Cardiovascular diseases remain one of the leading health risks in Europe. Elevated cholesterol levels and blood glucose values often remain unnoticed for years, increasing long-term risk.
Initiatives such as Herzenssache Lebenszeit play an important role in making prevention more visible, accessible, and actionable for the public.
For Swiss Point of Care, supporting heart health awareness aligns closely with our commitment to improving metabolic and cardiovascular health through practical and scalable diagnostic solutions.
Looking Back on a Meaningful Event
We look back on a successful and impactful participation in Munich and thank all partners and visitors who contributed to making the event meaningful.
Together, we continue working toward making heart health measurable, accessible, and proactive.
