  • Lancing device
  • Sterile lancets (always use a new one for each test)
  • Two CR2032 coin cell batteries (3.0V)
  • Glucose control solution (optional, for a quality check)
  • Clean, dry hands

Step‑by‑Step Setup📋

Step 1: Insert the Batteries

Turn the meter over and slide open the battery cover. Place two CR2032 coin cell batteries with the plus (+) side facing up. Close the cover until it clicks securely.

Step 2: Remove the Protective Film

Peel off the thin plastic film covering the display. Without removing this film, the screen may look dull or unclear.

Step 3: Enter Setup Mode

Hold the right button (>) for about 2 seconds. The meter will enter the setup menu.

Step 4: Configure the Meter

  1. Measurement Unit: Choose between mmol/L (Europe) or mg/dL (USA). Use the left button (<) to switch, confirm with the right button (>).
  2. Clock Format: Choose 24‑hour (recommended) or 12‑hour (AM/PM). Confirm with the right button.
  3. Date Format: Choose day‑month (D‑M) or month‑day (M‑D). Confirm with the right button.
  4. Date and Time: Adjust year, month, day, hour, and minutes using the left button. Confirm each value with the right button.

Step 5: Optional Features

  • Meal Marker: Default OFF. Enable only if you want to tag results before/after meals.
  • Sound (Beep): Default ON. Recommended, as it confirms actions and alerts errors.
  • Ketone Indicator: Default OFF. Enable if advised by your healthcare professional.
  • Hyper/Hypo Indicators: Set warning levels for high/low glucose values (only in consultation with your doctor).
  • Test Reminders: Up to 5 per day. Useful if you often forget to test.

Step 6: Finish Setup

Press the right button (>) once more to save all settings. The meter will switch off automatically. Your device is now ready for use.
