Resveratrol is an anti-oxidant (otherwise known as polyphenol) that is causing rumors for years.

Resveratrol is known as the polyphenol that possibly has a favourable effect in preventing heart conditions. Since 1992 a lot of research is being done on Resveratrol. Resveratrol is mainly present in red grapes (the seeds and outer layer). Other polyphenols from red grapes that could have a positive effect are OPCs and Anthocyans. In 1992 Resveratrol was related to “the French paradox” by the Americans (the paradox that the French, despite their diet that is rich in saturated fats (foie graf, french cheese, etc.), still have a relatively low rate of cardiovascular conditions). Polyphine® has a positive influence on the cardiovascular system.
